Iddea® is a corporation formed by two manufacturing plants and two marketing and distribution companies, covering the market of North America, Mexico and Central America for the auto and light truck vehicles and a second company focused on heavy duty vehicles.

The operations started in 1965 in electroplating processes. Currently, our group is specializes in: design, fabricating, electroplating process, marketing and distribution of auto parts and truck accessories as well as heavy duty truck accessories.

Recently Iddea® achieved the ISO 9001:2000 certification with “Underwriters Laboratories – UL” and registration with “Registrar Accreditation Board – RAB” under file number A13109.

As follows we will make a brief description of each business unit activities:

This plant is dedicated to the electroplating business for those customers needing specialized metal finishes with high quality control requirements.

	Main Business:  Metal Electroplating Finishing.   Process:  This facility offers special processes under customer’s specifications. Among many of the finishes available are: decorative chrome, hard chromium, rack and barrel zinc plating, rack and barrel nickel plating, nickel-zinc plating, black nickel, Velour’s or satin nickel, blacking oxide, phosphatizing, brass plating, gold plating, cadmium plating, nickel electroless, alodine, copper plating, tin plating, polishing, vibrating, chrome and other finishes on plastic, zinc die casting, and aluminum.   Market:  Our customers are in the OE automotive sector, electronics, bearings, locksmiths and others.   Equipment:  We rely on an internal laboratory for the process solution and finishing quality control. Our laboratory is equipped with the best test equipment such as Salt Spray Chamber, CASS Chamber, Metalographic Microscope, and Thickness Gauges destructive & not destructive.

We are firm believers that industrial progress and enviromental are compatible. We have water treatment facilities, which ensure waste water passes international regulations. And we assure the quality of our waste water in our own lab with our absorption Spectrophotometer.

This plant manufacture parts and accessories for all terrain vehicles, pick up and heavy-duty trucks. These products are manufactured in carbon mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. The products are offered in the following finishes: powder coat zinc based, triple nickel plus chrome finish under OE specifications, mirror finish 304 stainless as well as nickel-chrome over stainless steel which gives a lifetime warranty on the brightness as well as corrosion resistance.

These finishes are performed on our in-house finishing lines, which assure the best quality standards.

We rely on our own chrome plant with an automotive OE process, triple nickel plus chrome as well as our own powder coating line.

	Main Business:  Manufacturing automotive and heavy-duty parts and accessories.   Products:  Automotive Line: Front Bumpers and Protectors, SideBars, Grill Guards, Rear Bumpers, Brush Guards, Roll Bars, Exhaust Tips, Luggage Carrier Baskets. Heavy Duty Line: Fuel Tanks, Front & Rear Bumpers, Exhaust Chrome Stacks, Mud Flap Accessories, Grill & others. All products are manufacture under our own brands BIG COUNTRY, EXFLEX, SILVERTIPS and well known private label brands for US market.   Market:  Mexico, Central & South America, Caribbean and US. Exports 85% of its production.   Materials Used:  Stainless Steel tubing & sheet, mild steel, aluminized & galvanized sheets, aluminum, plastic injections.

	Main Business:  Marketing and distribution of automotive accessories truck accessories, 4 x 4 accessories, automotive exhaust and performance systems.   Products:  Grille Guards, Side Bars, Bed Rails, Bumpers, Roll Bars, Baskets, Hitches, Auxiliary Lights, Winches, Sport Racks, Bicycle, Watersport and general use racks, Roof Boxes, Bed Covers, Grilles, Exhaust Tips, Performance Exhaust Systems, Headers, Mufflers.   Market:  Iddea® covers the complete territory of Mexico, Central and South America markets. Among the distribution channels covered are: new auto dealers, accessory shops, autopart shops, 4 x 4 shops, 4 x 4 clubs, tire dealers, sport shops, sport chain stores, motorcycle dealers, trailer & towing shops.   Brand Names:  Iddea® markets and distributes several product lines of top internationally recognized brand names. Many of these as the national exclusive distributors such as: Big Country, Silver Tips, Thule, Karrite, Ramsey, Bushwhacker, Covercraft, Contico, Curt, KC Hilites, Steel Horse, Smitty Bilt, Dee Zee, Undercover.

	Main Business:  Marketing and distribution of parts and accessories for heavy-duty Trucks and transportation equipment.   Products:  Fuel tanks, Air Suspension Seats, Mirrors, Electric & Air Connectors, Wheel Accessories, Control Cargo Systems, Replacement and auxiliary lights, Air Horns, Grilles, Fiberglass, Hoods, Front and rear bumpers, License Plate Holders, Mud Flaps and accessories. The products we distribute are manufactured by our own manufacturing plants as well as imported from US, Canada and Orient. Many of these companies are well known OEM brands which we distribute nationally such as: Bostrom seats, Grover horns, Hadley horns, Tectran conectors, Trucklite, United Pacific, Kynedine cargo systems.   Brand Names:  The target market of the company is the distribution of the mentioned products to warehouses, freight companies and wholesalers. We rely on distribution centers and sales offices in Mexico City, Monterrey, Tampico and Guadalajara. Covering the whole Mexican territory and export customers in US.
